#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. On the Children of the Arctic information and educational portal’s YouTube channel a new series about the trip to Taimyr has been released.
Over the weekend, in the metallurgical capital of Krasnoyarsk region, you can go down to the most Arctic mine – Anhydrite, where the temperature is on the mark of +10 degrees all year round. Here, at a depth of 70 meters, drivers of special equipment are taught.
In Norilsk, you can try ice cream with venison – sweet and slightly salty, coffee with blueberries and lingonberries and other Arctic treats.
Tourists will be happy to visit the northernmost perfumer’s workshop, where they can smell the short Taimyr summer, as well as in the Polar Drama Theatre – a theater that is famous for a unique repertoire.
Travelers can visit the Red Stones – one of the Norilsk residents’ favorite places of rest, in winter – they can ride a snowmobile and see a venerable waterfall there.
A hundred kilometers from Norilsk there is the Dudinka port – the two cities are connected by one road and fate. There you can smoke the “cucumber” Koryushka fish – a delicacy, for which fishermen come to the Arctic, see the immersion of local divers, take a steam bath and plunge into ice water.
