#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Experts from Yandex.Travel have analyzed the tourism market and forecast a rise in popularity of so-called nocturnal tourism – travel that emphasizes experiences during the nighttime, as reported by Izvestia.
Destinations for these adventures include the Murmansk region, the Yamalo-Nenets autonomous district, as well as Taimyr and Norilsk.
Additionally, this year, Russians are expected to show a greater interest in trips aimed at enhancing mental well-being, with Altai region being a top choice, known for its clean air, healing herbs, and stunning mountains. Travelers will be looking for yoga and detox retreats, as well as meditation-focused getaways.
Ethno-tourism is also on the rise, with the most popular regions being Buryatia, Yakutia, and Dagestan.
Previously, tour operators reported an increasing demand among Russians for traveling to Arctic regions, but this demand remains unmet due to a lack of available options so far.
