#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The December issue of the Russian Railways magazine published an article about the uniqueness of Norilsk and Taimyr in terms of tourist attractiveness: about the natural features of the region, rivers and waterfalls, authentic cuisine.
According to the Norilsk Center for Tourism Development’s Telegram channel, in the December 2022 issue of Russian Railways, you can read the article Norilsk – a Window to the Unexplored World of the Arctic about the tourism potential of our northern territory. In the material, the authors reveal the advantages of the Arctic and Taimyr, mention the natural landscapes of the “thousand lakes and waterfalls land”, the unique Norilsk infrastructure, list the main northern features: glacial waters fish, arctic smelt seasons, reindeer, dog sledding, snowmobiling and other exotic for which tourists travel to the Arctic.
Residents of the metropolitan regions were the first to see the magazine.
Earlier we reported that the lake Lama swimming camp won the prestigious award’s Grand Prix and was included in the best sports routes of the year. This Is Taimyr also told about the first snowmobile festival in Taimyr, the industrial tourism program, the trail at the Haraelah mountains foot and the Taimyr Salt gastronomic expedition.
