On August 21, the City of Endless Inspiration quest with augmented reality (AR) elements started in Norilsk. With the help of the telephone, residents and guests of the Arctic will be able to look at Norilsk in a new way. The organizers of the quest are the Nornickel and RASKRASIMVSЁ companies.
“City quest is a modern format for studying history and iconic places in a game format. The quest shows the multilevel city and reflects its different layers: culture, traditions, history and art. Three-dimensional images are easily read using smartphones and make it possible to build an additional virtual layer on top of the familiar world. Instant wow effect!” said the organizers.
The quest is not limited in space and time against the backdrop of streets, squares and attractions.
Anyone who has a smartphone can get acquainted with the new format of leisure for free. To participate, you need to activate the Telegram bot and choose the route you like.
“The quest participants will receive three main routes, a super game, online tasks and valuable gifts from the organizers and partners of the project. Famous actors and presenters will assist,” the message says.
Prizes will be awarded to participants who complete more tasks. For other information about the quest, see the website norilskfest.ru.
Let us remind you that this summer Norilsk hosted the first festival of public art – The City of Endless Inspiration. Over the course of five days, master classes by artists from St. Petersburg and Moscow were attended by over 250 Norilsk residents. They learned how to paint walls, create wooden sculptures with the effect of 3D illusions and knitted fabric.
Earlier, we wrote that a park of art objects was presented at the Ol-Gul ski base. We also talked about an application that can ‘revive’ a seal, polar bear and other abodes of the North right in the apartment.
