The cub does not leave the place for the third day.

#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. For the third day now, a small polar bear cub has not left one place near the Taimyr village of Dikson. The director of the Krasnoyarsk park of flora and fauna Royev Ruchey Andrey Gorban told about this on social networks.

“The bear cub is looking for his mom. Well-groomed, plump. But my mom doesn’t seem to be coming. It shouldn’t have left the two-year-old, it means that something has happened to her”, said Andrey Gorban.

Also on the page of the zoo director there is a video of the baby. Andrey Gorban says that the zoo is monitoring the situation, at any time specialists are ready to fly out and save the two-year-old, if the federal Rosprirodnadzor makes such a decision.

Earlier, we told the story of the rescue of a young polar bear who wandered hungry and thin on the outskirts of Norilsk. Veterinarians of the Krasnoyarsk zoo took care of her for a long time, and now Martha lives in Royev Ruchey. In June, the anniversary of her ‘second birth’ was celebrated there. And the film about Martha received an award at the international film festival.

We also told how shift workers rescued a polar bear cub in the north of Taimyr. We also reported that they are going to organize a polar bear rescue center at Royev Ruchey.
