The shift workers who found the little predator, wrote to the director of the Royev Ruchey, and the baby will get a new home.

#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. In the north of the Krasnoyarsk region, shift workers rescued a hungry bear cub, which was left without a mother. As Andrey Gorban, director of the Krasnoyarsk zoo Roev Ruchey, wrote on his Facebook page, it was ‘a real thriller’. The first message about the polar baby arrived on February 4.

“The mother died, the bear cub has been living at the base for several months. The workers are leaving, the bear cub can die of hunger – he is very small. We didn’t have time to do anything, one hope is a big dump, the cub may stay alive for two months”, the shift workers wrote.

When the they returned, there were no more traces of the cub, everyone thought that the baby had already died. And then the good news – the kid went to another base, 40 kilometers away.

“Skinny, dirty, but alive! The bear cub is absolutely tame and will not leave people anywhere. And this is inevitable death as soon as he grows up. In such cases, there is only one salvation – the removal of the bear cub from dangerous conditions”, wrote Andrey Gorban.

All authorities and services were alerted, even a helicopter was obtained for free.

The bear cub has been saved and will find its new home, said the director of Roev Ruchey.
