With the support of Rosneft, Royev Ruchey has special modular boxes for rescuing and transporting orphaned bears whose lives are under threat in their natural habitat. The boxes are made of aluminum, their dimensions let them to be transported in any transport, including helicopters and airplanes.
“The bait is tied to the cable, the bear enters the module, reaches the very end, pulls the bait, the door closes”, said Oleg Kokarev, the park specialist.
In Royev Ruchey there is an opportunity for keeping small polar predators, as well as experience in saving them.
As a reminder, at the beginning of the last summer,the employees of the Krasnoyarsk zoo rescued a young bear wandering on the outskirts of Norilsk. It was transported to Royev Ruchey in a makeshift box. Martha is now healthy and feeling great.
