#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Fyodor Konyuhov will set a new world record – a traveler wants to overcome 500 kilometers in ten hours on a two-seater paraglider. If this succeeds, the polar explorer will beat the result of Polish pilots in non-stop flight – 427 kilometers.
As lenta.ru writes with reference to the JMGroup marketing bureau, the event is scheduled for August, and Fyodor Konyuhov will be assisted by the master of sports of international class pilot-instructor Igor Potapkin.
Recall that last year Konyuhov spent ten days on a drifting ice floe. There the traveler painted pictures and studied the intensity of ice melting and the routes of their drift. We also reported about the Great Arctic Regatta and the ‘sea unicorns’ study.
