#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. A 3D image of the northernmost berry – cloudberry – will appear on Sunday in an interactive photo zone at the Ol-Gul ski base.
The master of public spaces decorating artist Maria Kudasheva and her colleague from St. Petersburg Evgeny Dvornikov are applying the volumetric image to the pavement.
The whole process takes place under a dome that protects the artisans from rain and mosquitoes.
To create cloudberries, a persistent facade paint was delivered from the northern capital: the drawing will not only survive until the Northern Berry festival, but should also survive the winter.
The fifth city festival Northern Berry starts on July 30. The project received a grant from the World of New Opportunities charity program of the Nornickel company.
From the 27th to the 30th, Maria Kudasheva will hold a master class on creating 3D drawings on asphalt. Artists and designers are welcome to take part. An application for participation can be filled out on the festival website yagodafest.ru.
Earlier, the first public art festival was held in Norilsk. We also said that the facades opposite the former maternity hospital will be decorated with stories from Norilsk residents.
