#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. A list of tourist routes highlighting locations for traditional folk crafts will soon be featured on the Путешествуем.РФ portal, as announced by Inna Svyatenko, the vice-speaker of the Federation Council.
“We have developed a proposal to enhance the popular website Путешествуем.РФ, which allows users to create their own itineraries, including stops at places that showcase traditional folk crafts. Our initiative has received support from deputy prime minister Dmitry Chernyshenko. Currently, there are five routes listed on the site, but I am confident that there are many more out there”, TASS reported Svyatenko as saying.
Svyatenko has also reached out to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, requesting a list of these locations to create a more comprehensive set of routes.
Previously, we reported that Russians are eager to explore the Arctic, but there is a lack of offerings from tour operators.
