June 20, 2022

The Arctic and Taimyr also have something to offer to the jury.

#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. A projects’ competition in the gastronomic tourism field has started in Russia. Participants can present productions, spaces, products, routes and events.

According to the Rostourism (Eng.: Russian tourism), the diploma will be awarded to the winner in September. The finalists will present their region and project at the forum-festival in Vladivostok, and all contestants will be able to improve their skills at the School of Gastronomic Tourism. The training will be at the organizer’s expense.

The Arctic also has something to offer in the field of gastrotourism. Fishermen come together in Dudinka to catch a ‘cucumber’ fish smelt right in the center of the city every spring for many years. Norilsk has been hosting the Sever (Eng.: North) gastro festival since 2018. Taimyr venison turned out to be the richest in macro- and microelements. Taimyr char as the world’s most useful fish want to breed for sale and the Fisherman Day is celebrated in Taimyr with contests and obligatory tasting of stroganina.

Now Bellini Group is developing a program for the development of the gastronomy industry for Norilsk.
