The Arctic Circle of Friendship concert with the participation of the Heiro and Taimyr ensembles will take place on the Embankment square. The fashion theater will show winter national clothes, the fire of friendship will be lit on the square. Also on this day, an ethnic city with five traditional tents of the indigenous ethnic groups of the peninsula will be established, street radio broadcasts will work, and a film about Taimyr will be shown free of charge in the Arctic cinema and leisure center. In addition, in early December it’s planned to open a snow town in Dudinka and present the main exhibition of the Taimyr Museum of Local Lore – 90 Years of Accomplishments.
“Despite the overall stable situation, we have postponed all events related to the 90th anniversary of Taimyr, which were planned to be held indoors. This was done solely for the purpose of taking care of our health and the health of children, “- said the head of Taimyr Yevgeny Vershinin.
