#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. After the spacecraft successfully docked with the station, Peskov shared that he experienced two intense days of handover with the crew returning to Earth. Now, the cosmonauts are looking forward to some much-needed rest before diving back into their work with renewed energy.
“This is my first test post with a brief overview of the first two days and a little tour of the station. It will get more interesting from here!” Kirill Peskov announced in his Telegram channel.
The video features a short tour of the station for his followers. Peskov began filming in his cabin and then moved through several compartments. Since some of his colleagues were working while others were resting, he chose not to disturb them. He noted that moving around the station can be done along any surface, but it’s important to “balance your strength with your possibilities”. Eventually, he reached a porthole, where he was able to view Earth.
“We can see that the station is flying over what is known as the terminator line, which separates day and night on our beautiful planet. It’s an incredible sight”, Peskov shared.
It’s also worth mentioning that he started his channel only on March 12, and he now has over 2 600 subscribers. He promised to post new videos and updates about his work on the ISS in the coming days.
