It took place at the A. M. Kadakin school at the Russian embassy.

#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The central venue for this year’s event has been the Arctic Embassy of the Russian Arctic national park.

The southernmost location for the dictation was in India, where it took place at the A. M. Kadakin school at the Russian embassy, according to TASS.

Participants had to answer 30 questions related to the history of Arctic exploration, its flora and fauna, geology, ecology, natural phenomena, the characteristics of Arctic place names, and the lives of explorers.

The questions for the dictation were created by staff from the Russian Arctic national park and other specially protected Arctic areas.

The Arctic Dictation is being conducted in 17 regions across the country at 95 different venues.

Results of the event are expected to be announced on March 11.

Earlier, This Is Taimyr reported that polar explorers aboard the icebreaker Ivan Papanin were the first to participate in the Arctic Dictation – 2025.
