#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The Taimyr Museum of Local Lore has launched free wireless Internet for visitors.
“Not long ago, our museum hosted an event organized by Nornickel, and as part of the sponsorship, company representatives installed Wi-Fi for us, with the help of which our visitors can now use the Internet for free”, said Maria Rudakova, deputy director for cultural and edcational activities.
According to Maria, the institution has been operating the Artifact platform for a long time, which consists of QR codes assigned to a particular exhibition item, by pointing at which you can find out more information about it.
“Previously, only those with mobile Internet could use this service, but now it has become available to everyone”, added the museum worker.
To use wireless communication in the museum, you should enter a password – the date of the Taimyr Museum of Local Lore’s foundation.
Earlier, This Is Taimyr reported that the Taimyr Museum of Local Lore published the Museum Bulletin magazine.
