#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Norilsk celebrated the 70th anniversary of the city and Metallurgist’s Day. Norilsk residents set another pleasant record – they ate the largest ice cream in Russia weighing 200 kilograms.
The giant dessert was made by the Norilsk dairy plant. For the treat distribution, more than three thousand branded cups with the inscription Record of Russia were made.
Experts from the Russian Book of Records came to Norilsk to record the achievement.
Norilsk residents love local ice cream – it is legendary in some way. In the History Spot section, we said that the first glass of this delicacy was made in 1963. At first, Norilsk ice cream was produced in cups, and then in tubs, and another city legend is associated with this.
It should be reminded that one more record was recorded in Norilsk yesterday: more than seven thousand city residents joined hands and hugged the city. Over the weekend, Garik Sukachev performed for the citizens at the Zapolyarnik stadium, and Shaman’s concert was held on Komsomolskaya square.
