#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The expert jury has finalized the list of performances that will be included in the Golden Fund of Theatrical Productions of Russia. The Theatre Workers’ Union of Russia will create a collection of television adaptations of these productions.
The Golden Fund of Theatrical Productions of Russia is the largest theatrical project dedicated to celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Theatre Workers’ Union of the Russian Federation. Its main goal is to establish a collection of performances that reflect the theatrical culture and traditional spiritual and moral values of our country while shaping its overall cultural identity.
Professional theaters, including independent projects from all regions of Russia, were invited to participate in the selection process. There were no restrictions on the form or genre of the performances; the only requirement was being part of the theater’s current repertoire.
The selection process occurred in two stages. First, regional branches of the Russian Theatre Workers’ Union reviewed the submitted works. From a pool of 300 selected performances, an expert jury – comprising esteemed figures from the arts, culture, television, and mass media, as well as specialists in theatrical arts – choses the winners.
The selected works will form the Golden Fund of Theatrical Productions of Russia. These performances will be featured in the information campaign celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Russian Federation’s Theatre Workers Union and will receive extensive coverage from media partners, along with commemorative certificates. Additionally, the union will create a library of television adaptations of the productions included in the Golden Fund.
Among the 150 best productions in the country, recognized by the experts, there is the performance Tomorrow Was the War by the Polar drama theatre, based on the story by Boris Vasilyev and directed by Timur Faiyuzov.
Earlier, This Is Taimyr reported that Norilsk Seasons would be taking place in Norilsk.
