‘Mining’ ten-ruble coins put into circulation

On the reverse side there is a relief image of a miner with a drilling tool in his hands.

#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR.  On the Miner’s Day eve, the Bank of Russia issued a commemorative coin Mining Industry Employee of the Man of Labor series made of base metals with a face value of 10 rubles.

On the front side of the coin there are inscriptions along the circumference: in the upper part – БАНК РОССИИ (eng.: BANK OF RUSSIA), in the lower part – 2022. Left and right – images of laurel and oak branches. In the center – the number 10 and the inscription РУБЛЕЙ (eng.: RUBLES) below it, indicating the face value of the coin. In the lower part there is the Moscow Mint trademark.

On the reverse side there is a relief image of a miner with a drilling tool in his hands and a stylized image of a mine lifting mechanism element, on the left along the circumference there is an inscription: ЧЕЛОВЕК ТРУДА (eng.: MAN OF LABOUR). The circulation of the coin is one million pieces.

Earlier, the Central Bank issued commemorative coins with the bear cub Umka. Also, it would again mint ‘tens’ with views of Krasnoyarsk.
