#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The directorate of the XX international festival of ethnic music and crafts Siberia World accepts applications for ethnic musical and crafts competitions. The application campaign will last until March 31, and the event will take place from July 11 to 14 in the village of Shushenskoye, Krasnoyarsk region.
Siberia World is the main open-air musical event in Siberia, one of the largest and most authoritative ethnic festivals in Russia. Hundreds of amateur and professional performers of ethnic music and dance, as well as masters of arts and crafts, become its participants every year. Candidates for victory in various nominations and age categories compete not only for the attention of tens of thousands of viewers, but also for the right to get the award. This year its size has increased by 1.5 times.
The organizers report that the total prize fund will be almost three million rubles. All finalists of the competition will get cash incentives. At the same time, Siberia World remains one of the few festivals where there are no organizational fees.
The contestants will be assessed by a jury chaired by the famous folklorist and music producer Sergey Starostin and the honored artist of the Krasnoyarsk region, founder of the Krasnoyarsk ceramic school, Alexander Migas.
