#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Rostourism federal tourism agency has selected 48 regions to receive grants in 2023 to support at least a thousand tourism projects totaling 5.3 billion rubles. Through financial support, Rostourism wants to stimulate different territories, improve existing tourist facilities and complete the construction of new tourist destinations.
The Krasnoyarsk region is among the areas to receive funds for projects in the following categories:
- creation and development of beach areas on the seas, rivers and lakes’ shores;
- creation and development of national tourist routes.
These can be infrastructure development projects, camping projects and the completion of various tourism projects. The amounts themselves are nominally small for capital projects – three to five million rubles per application. But for a separate territory, taking into account co-financing from the region and investors, this is a significant support.
Earlier, it was proposed to create tourist agglomerations in Hatanga. In Norilsk, a new route is being developed along the gorge of mount Schmidt. A national branded route may appear on Taimyr. Also on our territory the gastronomic expedition Taimyr Salt: bloggers, journalists and eminent chefs visited the Putorana plateau, Dudinka, went down to the mine in Norilsk and tried the best Arctic products.
