#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The Krasnoyarsk puppet theater will go on a tour to Norilsk, Dudinka and Dikson on March 31. It is bringing an extensive cultural program, in which everyone will find something that will be interesting to them.
Norilsk audience is promised two see bright premieres from last year: Stolen Sun and Dream of a Ridiculous Man, writes the Krasnoyarsk puppet theater’s website.
The latter is based on a work that is called the quintessence of the author’s philosophy, the result of Dostoevsky’s reflections on eternal questions: who are we, why are we like this? These topics are becoming especially relevant in our rapidly changing world, where each of us is looking for the meaning of existence and our own path.
Krasnoyarsk puppeteers will also bring three time-tested and beloved performances: My Magic Sock, The Dog Who Couldn’t Bark and the bar-performance Oh, Curly Rowan.
The performance The Dog Who Couldn’t Bark is based on the fairy tale by Gianni Rodari and will appeal to many children: together with the Dog, the little viewers will go on a fun journey, during which she will diligently learn the language of all the animals she meets along the way, trying to find her own voice.
Exciting master classes from visiting artists and the opening of an exhibition about the history of the puppet theater People and Dolls are also expected.
Earlier, This Is Taimyr wrote about how the Theater Seasons were held in Norilsk.
