The Rosvodresursy federal agency, as part of the national project Ecology, has restored more than 650 kilometers and 22 thousand hectares of water bodies since 2019. In the lower reaches of the Volga alone, 66 special structures were built to provide water to arid areas. The results of this work are already having a positive impact on the quality of life of 17 million people.
Russia has unique water reserves, which provide unprecedented opportunities for many sectors of the economy. In this regard, Rosvodresursy is entrusted with a whole range of tasks, the solution of which directly affects food, energy, environmental, transport security, as well as the quality of life of citizens.
