#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The RGO Expo expeditionary center team set two world records in the Arctic. One of the route participants, Bogdan Bulychev, spoke about this on social networks.
“The first record is that for the first time a stock car drove under its own power to 74 degrees north latitude. The second one is reaching the northernmost point of the Far East and Yakutia by car. We decided to make it more difficult and made this record on the stock Land Cruiser 300”, the message says.
Recall that at the end of February the team started on the new Land Cruiser 300 to the Arctic. The trip is positioned as a world test drive of the new Toyota flagship in the conditions of absolute winter extreme.
The project route start and finish was in Yakutsk. No one has yet gone so far on a stock car.
The most difficult stage will take place in the Arctic and the Arctic Ocean coast.
“I drove the entire route from Yakutsk to cape Paksa in the first car, without changing with the guys from the team, I decided to set my personal record. Sasha Elikov joined my crew as a navigator, who shared his unique experience”, wrote Bogdan Bulychev.
Recall that in 2018 extreme sportsmen drove cars from Dudinka to Dikson.
Earlier, we told that a series about the development of the Russian North would be filmed in the Arctic, the first Arctic bus was tested in the Far North, and Taimyr travelers on snowmobiles would go looking for bighorns.
