#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. In honor of its tenth anniversary, the Obogatitelnaya Fabrika (eng.: Concentrating Factory) project invited a galaxy of stars to Norilsk. Among the Severny Gorod media company’s guests there was an artist, musician, and also State Duma deputy Dmitry Pevtsov. The meeting at the city culture center was like a musical and literary performance.

The actor said that he was used to working with the musicians of his group Pevtsov-Orchestra – they toured half of Russia with big concerts. In Norilsk, Pevtsov complained, he performed some songs for the first time in his life without the accompaniment of a live instrument. Despite everything, the performer managed to get the room going in a good way, to talk openly with Norilsk residents about the value of family and friendship, attitude towards children and books, the role of modern theater, and new cinema products – for example, about the film about Fyodor Konyuhov.
Pevtsov told stories related to his childhood and youth, his accidental admission to GITIS (Russian Institute of Theater Arts) at that time, talked about his work at the Taganka Theater, his colleagues at Lenkom theater and his experience as the head of the acting department.
He unexpectedly admitted that he doesn’t like movies:
“This is not a job for me. It’s not enough for me to be an actor. Cinema gives fame, but no film has made me better than I was”.
In his opinion, only theater creates priceless sensations and invisible energy between the viewer and the stage.
Let us remind you that at the invitation of the Severny Gorod media company, actor Alexey Chadov, beauty blogger and TV presenter Avrora, the Business-FM radio host Kira Altman and cosmonaut Sergey Ryazansky came to Norilsk for the Obogatitelnaya Fabrika’s tenth anniversary.
