#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The Tutu travel service, one of the most popular resources with an audience of 30-40 million visitors per month, will create a portal about travel to the Arctic and the Far East.
On the site you can read about sights and interesting events.
According to the Russian Far East Development Ministry head Alexey Chekunkov, the site will become a tool that will help unlock the tourism potential of Russia’s unique Arctic territories:
“The resource will help to determine the most popular tourist services, objectively analyze demand, supply, and promising areas for the hospitality sector development”.
The electronic platform will collect data on the number of hotels, average bills for air, rail and bus tickets. It will be possible to find out from which regions people most often come to the Far East and the Russian Arctic. The business community will be able to obtain information about the opportunities for the development of projects and preferences that operate in these territories in the field of tourism.
Earlier, Norilsk got into the mainstream of fashion for industrial tourism; a checklist for a weekend in Norilsk and Dudinka was made for travelers. They also want to launch tourist flights along the Northern Sea Route. And from April 3 to 7, Norilsk will host an exhibition of domestic tourism – In the Center of Taimyr: guests will be able to win tours, buy souvenirs and taste Arctic delicacies.
