#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. A new mobile app for car travelers is set to be launched in Russia on December 1. It will help you find the nearest gas station and even warn you when it’s time to change your oil, the Digital Transformation association’s board chairman Yury Myshinsky reported.
The main function is the ability to create an individual route.
“A car driver is a person who loves freedom: if he wants, he can stop and rest, he can deviate from the route, or go somewhere else. And in this regard, strict boundaries are not in line with the expectations and wishes of a car tourist. That is, our system is turning into a customer-oriented guide that helps wherever you go, whatever you do”, Myshinsky said in an interview with TASS.
The service will also remind you that it’s time to change your brake pads or oil, and recommend the nearest car dealership with good reviews.
“So the app is a fellow traveler who knows everything about the area you are traveling through: attractions, hotel availability, ticket availability at the box office”, the expert noted.
He said that preliminary testing of the application and integration with various partners is currently underway.
Earlier, we reported that demand for river cruises grows in the country.
