#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. As part of the new scientific and educational cluster being created in Krasnoyarsk, it is planned to launch an artificial intelligence development center. This was announced at the Russian Creative Week – Siberia festival by the Russian investors’ consortium head Marina Zhigalova, who signed a cooperation agreement with the region governor Mikhail Kotyukov.
“The new educational and creative cluster will be aimed at supporting technologies and the gaming industry. Within the framework of this cluster, it is planned to create not only an educational center, but also a center for the development of artificial intelligence. We all know about the important task of increasing the share of creative industries in our country’s GDP. I am sure that our initiative and the implementation of our plans will increase this percentage”, TASS quotes Zhigalova as saying.
According to her, the work has just begun.
As Mikhail Kotyukov noted, today creative industries make up 2.9 percent of the economy of the Krasnoyarsk region. By 2030, it is planned to double this share.
