#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. One of the best health resorts on the Black Sea coast for the second time receives a prestigious environmental certificate. It is awarded to hospitality enterprises that meet the main principles of sustainable development. Prior to this, the resort took first place in the top 100 compiled by the Health Tourism Association.
The Zapolyarye’s path to the certificate began two years ago. To do this, the health resort switched to economical energy and water consumption, the use of environmentally friendly means for washing and cleaning rooms, as well as selective collection of waste and ensuring their further processing.
Over the past year, the sanatorium has landscaped tens of kilometers of surrounding areas, replaced gasoline equipment with modern, battery-powered ones, and began using detergents that are bio- and photodegradable in the air.
Recall that the Zapolyarye’s rehabilitation program after COVID-19 was recognized as the best in Russia.
Previously, Zapolyarye was among the top five Russian Hospitality Awards. In addition, Nornickel employees traditionally come to the resort city for the company’s annual competition Mom, Dad and I are a Sports Family.
