#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The VII Arctic festival Taimyr Attraction starts in Dudinka. The event is attended by creative groups and masters of arts and crafts from the region, as well as invited guests from other regions.
An exhibition of works by Elena Ilyankova, a member of the Russia Artists Union, has already opened at the Taimyr House of Folk Art, and a competition of decorative and applied arts named after Boris Molchanov is also taking place. An exhibition from the collections of the Russian State Museum of the Arctic and Antarctic, dedicated to the 290th anniversary of the Great Northern Expedition, began working at the Taimyr Museum of Local Lore.
Also in Dudinka there is a regional festival Taimyr Workshop. Candidate of Cultural Studies, member of the Russia Photographers Union, member of the Russia Journalists Union Alexey Snetkov will conduct a workshop-seminar Multidimensional Spatial Solutions in the Process of Developing Creative Thinking.
On December 7, the Taimyr Museum of Local Lore held a press conference The Taimyr Attraction with the participation of the creative delegations leaders from the settlements of the municipal region and invited guests. On the same day, the Arctic Festival grand opening took place.
Today, December 8, educational institutions in the city of Dudinka will host Taimyr Lessons, Lessons of Friendship, where festival guests will meet school students.
On December 10, the Taimyr Oikumena ethnocamp will open its doors, and the Taimyr Local History Museum will host a photo exhibition Taimyr Honorary Anniversaries throughout the day.
The festival closing ceremony will take place on December 13, after which the Taimyr Young Talents competition will begin in the Bargan and Choreography categories.
