#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. If funds are allocated, a unified permafrost monitoring center may begin operating in Russia as early as 2025. According to Mikhail Kuznetsov, the Vostokgosplan federal autonomous scientific institution’s director, the institution plans to create data collection protocols and conduct a number of other works that will allow combining various information flows from federal and regional centers.

At the same time, Vostokgosplan has to develop a concept for a unified center and a corresponding bill.
