“Any travel operator that offers tours to the Arctic can use this service for free. Professional consultants will help you arrange and present your project correctly”, said Alexander Krutikov, first deputy minister of Russia for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic.
Alexander Krutikov added that the department uses all its resources to promote these projects. Now the portal is designed mainly for Russian tourists, but in the future, after the removal of epidemic restrictions, it will be aimed at a foreign audience. The site was proposed to be included in the national tourism development project. There are 30 tourist projects out of 200 applications for residency in the Arctic zone of Russia.
In turn, the head of Rostourism Zarina Doguzova recalled that the head of the state supported the creation of a separate national project for the tourism sector.
“The national project is a great historical event for Russian tourism. It will allow us to form both financial and systemic measures to support the industry for years to come. All the activities of the national project will have a cross-cutting nature, that is, they will allow the development of any types of tourism in any territory of our country”, she emphasized.
As This Is Taimyr previously wrote, this year the tourist flow in Taimyr has increased. A resort will appear on the Putorana plateau, which will be created by the Nornickel company.
