On Sunday, September 27, Norilsk residents and guests of the city attended the new educational excursion. The guide told about the city’s legends, testimonies and tragedies of the Norilsk past.
In 4 hours, the participants visited several locations and learned a lot of interesting things about Norilsk. For example, why the African giraffe Noniy settled in the courtyard of the Talnakh city library. How the literary duel between Snegov and Gumilyov ended. Whether Vladimir Vysotsky was in Norilsk or not. What the young residents of the city wrote in a letter to Samuil Marshak.
The excursion was led by the philologist, journalist, member of the Russian Geographical Society, post-graduate student of the Journalism Department of the Media Industry Academy, writer Elena Kovalenko.
