#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The unique Arctic expedition has ended. Ten winners of the multi-format competition Ticket to the Arctic took part in it. The participants returned from a trip to the Murmansk region, the competition organizers report.
Students and young scientists from Blagoveshchensk, Yekaterinburg, Krasnodar, Moscow, Obninsk, St. Petersburg and Saratov got acquainted with the scientific and technological potential of the Murmansk region. They visited the Kola nuclear power plant and Atomflot, the enterprises of the Kola mining and metallurgical company in Monchegorsk, the Kirov mine, the center for the construction of large-capacity offshore structures, the Kola wind power plant and other facilities.
Nornickel, Rosatom, PhosAgro, Novatek and EL5-Energo were the strategic partners of the competition.
The expedition and the Ticket to the Arctic competition were organized by the non-profit organization Clean Arctic; grant support was provided by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.
