#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The amateur contemporary pop dance ensemble Freestyle will perform at the national choreography awards ceremony, Pride of the Nation, held at the State Kremlin Palace. This incredible opportunity came after the ensemble’s victory at the all-Russian competition Crystal Nika.

Freestyle won two first-place awards in the categories Street Dance and Contemporary Dance, as well as a second-place diploma for pop dance. The ensemble also received a special jury prize for repertoire diversity, according to the City Culture Center’s website.
The exemplary contemporary pop dance ensemble Shkoda also delivered an outstanding performance, earning first place in the Street Dance category and receiving a grant from MD PRIDE.
“Dancers are still coming down from the incredible emotions, parents are recovering after a week-long marathon of excitement, and teachers are already making new plans”, Norilsk residents shared on VKontakte.
In Kazan, our performers collected awards at three different competitions. At the 11th international festival-competition of choreographic art Light Up Your Star, the jury gave Freestyle top marks six times. Under the direction of Lilia Yakupova, the ensemble secured a decisive victory, receiving a special diploma for Outstanding Performance Mastery and the Grand Prix in the Street Dance category.
The exemplary ensemble Shkoda also shone, winning two gold and two silver awards.
At the #ИдиТанцуйФест competition, performances by both ensembles from the City Culture Center earned laureate diplomas across all three prize levels.
