#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. A social tourism program has launched in the Krasnoyarsk region. This year, three thousand residents of the region will be able to travel around the region for a third of the trip cost – these are students and pupils of educational organizations, people receiving insurance pensions, large families, disabled people, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, military operations, military service and labor veterans.
Nine tours have been prepared for travelers, including an inclusive one.
Program participants will visit the Astafiev memorial complex, the Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric power station, the Krasnoyarsk Pillars national park, Yeniseisk and Sosnovoborsk, the Shushenskoye museum-reserve and the Shushensky Bor national park, the Sayano-Shushenskaya hydroelectric power station, the Badzhei Caves and other attractions of the region. Tourists will also enjoy master classes in folk arts, ethnomusic, and wood carving.
Seven companies received subsidies for the preferential tourism programs organization: the Sputnik tourism and training center, Open World, Meridian, the travel club Dyula-Tour, Altamira, Mana-Tour and Alliance Tour. All trips include travel, accommodation, meals, cultural and educational program. Residents of the region will go on their first discounted trips in July.
