#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The marathon of the New Year’s fairy tale has started in the Zapolyarny drama theater. The artists play three performances a day.
The play is based on the famous Soviet fairy tale film of the same name. It contains both the plot and the songs loved from childhood, funny elements are added, the tale is colored with battle scenes and folk dance games. There is enough heroism, and love, and terrible and funny – as in a good cocktail, the necessary proportions for an excellent result are observed.
As the director of the production Anna Babanova noted on the eve of the premiere, she dreamed of transferring her favorite fairy tale from childhood to the stage when her son was very young.
“I wanted people to hear all the melodies they loved from childhood: how the scribe Yashka, Alyonushka, Fenist, Kartaus – Red Moustache sing. I hope it will be very warm and funny”, said Anna Babanova a week before the premiere, and her hope was justified: the fairy tale really turned out bright and warm.
From reviews about the fairy tale on social networks:
“The first performance on the big stage! Anyutka, 2 years 10 months old, looked, asked, was afraid, was happy. Emotions are priceless! Thank you @samy_severny favorite theater for a wonderful fairy tale!”
According to the Honored Artist of Russia Marina Zhurilo, who brilliantly played the role of the grumpy and loud Anfisa, the work on the play went on easily and naturally. For her, any role is a responsible matter, and it makes no difference whether she plays in a fairy tale or in a dramatic production. But in general, the atmosphere at the rehearsals was close to fabulous, when everything goes like clockwork.
This year the performances run until December 30, and in the new year – from January 2 to 8.
