#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. You can find out about the most interesting places in Taimyr and plan a trip to them using the Discover Taimyr platform. The digital platform was presented at the XI interregional media forum Енисей.рф on October 5 by the Norilsk Development Agency’s press secretary Anna Finn.
The website contains information about available tourism products in the territory. The user can select the most interesting activities, indicate the travel time, and artificial intelligence will create a suitable tour.
“The platform introduces our unique natural locations, main attractions and talks about almost all leisure options in Taimyr”, explained Anna Finn.
The NDA’s another digital product is the Norilsk 2035 website. This platform provides comprehensive information about the city renovation.
The core of the site is an immersive 3D map, which replicates the entire urban system in detail, allowing you to view the facade of each house and renovation objects, find out the stages of their reconstruction and the timing of commissioning. The creation of the platform was preceded by shooting city objects from above and rendering each of them using virtual technologies.
“The platform allows you to get all the information about the renovation of the city. Find out how it is going now and get an idea of what Norilsk will be like in 2035. The renovation is intended to make it a modern, technologically advanced, comfortable and convenient city, where there will be many scenarios for self-realization, work and creativity”, the NDA representative noted.
Let us remind you that the Енисей.рф forum is taking place in Krasnoyarsk on October 5–6. Its organizers are the Agency for Press and Mass Communications of the Krasnoyarsk regions with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia. The Nornickel is the general partner of the media forum. The site features a metallurgical company’s media lounge with northern lights, Taimyr video art and a bar where one can try coffee and ice cream with venison and northern berries.
The media lounge hosts a whole series of public talks with the participation of invited speakers, including traveler, host of the Show Me the North show Anton Zaitsev, photographers Ivan Smelov and Slava Stepanov, community manager of the creative space NDA Maria Nikitich.
Earlier, This Is Taimyr reported that the first and only swimming camp in the Arctic on Lake Lama, X-WATERS Plateau Putorana, won the Grand Prix of the prestigious award.
