#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The first broadcast of the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company in Dudinka took place on December 5, 1989. For 35 years, Taimyr journalists have been preparing news about events taking place on the Arctic borders of our region every day. The team has been filming in the most remote locations of the Far North, interviewing the top officials of the territory.
Over the years of its existence, Taimyr television has undergone many reorganizations. At the same time, northern journalists have always managed to keep up with the times.
The Krasnoyarsk State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company’s director Dmitry Lepuhov has sent congratulations to Dudinka journalists from the leaders of the largest media holding in the world – Oleg Dobrodeyev and Rifat Sabitov.
“Today we can already say for sure that the channel Sibir24 – Taimyr has become a public municipal channel of Dudinka. These are new opportunities for our team, new opportunities for Taimyr television, new challenges! On my own behalf, I would like to wish you further creative success, loyalty and love of TV viewers. And – surprise people! Surprise TV viewers, colleagues, ourselves every day!” Dmitry Lepuhov emphasized.
On his VKontakte page, the deputy from Taimyr Sergey Sizonenko also congratulated Dudinka journalists:
“35 years is a wonderful age, still youth, the prime of life. I wish that the team remains as active, energetic, creative, and the programs are interesting, bright, popular”.
Head of the territorial office of GTRK Krasnoyarsk in Dudinka Vadim Kulikov noted that the main task of journalists is to be closer to TV viewers.
“Our TV viewers are demanding. They follow, watch, call, praise, sometimes criticize and thus make us the best version of ourselves. This year the TV channel turns 35, and the 22nd button is, in my opinion, the best gift to us and our TV viewers”, he noted.
The main achievements are still ahead. The nearest one is the expansion of the coverage area: the signal will reach the most remote and hard-to-reach corners of the peninsula.
Let us recall that in 2023, the Severny Gorod media holding celebrated the 25th anniversary of broadcasting in the Arctic.
