#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Preservation of National Traditions Contest is aimed at supporting and developing the traditional way of life and culture of indigenous minorities.
Representatives of the indigenous small-numbered ethnic groups of Taimyr, registered in the municipal district, are invited to participate. Each of them can apply for participation in one or several nominations: National traditions and culture – for descendants, Dynasty of hunters and Reindeer nomadic family.
“At the first stage of the competition, the selection will be held in the Taimyr settlements. The competition committee will accept and evaluate the materials submitted by rural settlements. Until October 31, it will determine the winners in accordance with the evaluation criteria. Those who win the qualifying round will take part in the second stage of the competition. Among them, the main winners will then be chosen”, the organizers noted.
The results of the competition will be announced by December 10.
