#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. Krasnoyarsk region’s significant events and projects participate in the all-Russian достижения.рф competition, which tells about what Russia has achieved in the 21st century in industry, culture, tourism, sports, education, science, and technology. Our region is represented by 15 projects, for which you can vote until October 31.
Among the region’s significant results there is the World Winter Universiade 2019, which became one of the best in the history of the International University Sports Federation; the International Festival of Ethnic Music and Crafts – World of Siberia; the 400th anniversary of Yeniseysk; as well as events dedicated to the famous Krasnoyarsk citizens: Dmitry Hvorostovsky’s festival and Victor Tretyakov’s International Violin Competition.
In the field of tourism, the longest staircase in Russia on the Torgashinsky range, the largest city park in the country Gremyachaya Greeva, an observation deck at the highest point of the city – Nikolaevskaya Sopka, cruises along the Yenisey, unique tourist sites of the region’s Arctic zone: the Mammoth Museum, the lake Taimyr and the Putorana plateau.
Biosensors of a new generation, the project for the development of the Lower Angara region, also participate in the voting. In addition, you can support the passenger terminal of the Krasnoyarsk International Airport after Dmitry Hvorostovsky and two training centers for athletes – the Academy of Winter Sports and the Academy of Wrestling after D.G. Mindiashvili.
Earlier, the main Taimyr ethno-festival – Big Argish – won the Event of the Year award, experts studied the Taimyr polar stations’ tourist opportunities.
