#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The Krasnoyarsk region’s delegation will go to the XIX international exhibition-fair Treasures of the North – Masters and Artists of Russia – 2024, which will be held in Moscow from April 29 to May 3, 2024. It consists of 23 people – artists, masters of folk arts and crafts, reindeer herders, actors and other creative workers from Taimyr, Evenkia and the Turuhansky region.
At the exhibition they will present national costumes, items made of fur and beads, souvenirs made from mammoth ivory and deer antlers, as well as unique northern products – dried meat, fish, pine nuts, etc.
Master classes on making souvenirs from bone at the exhibition will be given by bone cutters Semyon Gorbunov and Nikolay Kudryakov, and artist-sculptor Andrey Porotov. Participants in the concert program from our region will be the famous Evenk singer Vladimir Homenko and musician Maxim Dzhenkoul.
The exhibition will include the all-Russian festival of the North, Siberia and the Far East indigenous peoples’ cultures Nomads of the North, the festival of ethnic costume Polar Style, and the gala concert of the folk festival Nomads of the North. In addition, competitions will be held for the best regional exhibition and the best product of national artistic crafts.
The exhibition also includes a business program dedicated to the life of indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East of Russia, including thematic and expert sessions, business dialogues and discussion platforms, plenary sessions.
