#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The Dudinka area villages have held celebrations dedicated to the Taimyr Day. On this day, the village clubs of Potapovo, Ust-Avam, Levinskiye Peski, Volochanka and Hantayskoye Ozero held a rich program for local residents, the official website of Dudinka reports.
Thus, in Potapovo, northerners were presented with an exhibition of paintings by amateur Enets artist Ivan Silkin, and a festive concert and educational quiz were also held for the villagers. The village youngest residents sang songs and recited poems about fishermen and hunters in the Enets language, the librarian Olga Ashlyapkina asked northern riddles. The evening ended with tea drinking and treating the holiday guests with stroganina, sugudai and national flatbreads.
In the village of Ust-Avam, as part of the concert Attraction of Taimyr, the dance group Avamochka performed northern dances with tambourines and presented poems dedicated to the peninsula. Riddles of Taimyr writers and poets were also heard from the stage.
The concert About Taimyr with Love was held in the village of Levinskiye Peski. At the beginning of the event, the audience watched a video presentation about Taimyr, telling about the history, flora and fauna of the peninsula, and also listened to a story about famous people of the territory – Ogdo Aksenova, Motyumyaku Turdagin, Boris Molchanov and Lyubov Nenyang. Then those present tested their strength in the games of the North peoples. The holiday ended with a dinner with national dishes, tea and jam from local berries.
