#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The Corporation of Stars is an annual creativity festival of the Norilsk Nickel company employees. The participants of the competition traditionally represent their talents in two categories: Musical and artistic creativity and Applied arts and crafts.
The Stars Corporation of the 2020 season started in March. Due to the epidemic situation, the competition was held in an online format.
In the Applied arts and crafts category, the participants sent photos of their works. They worked in various directions and techniques: painting, graphics, photography, sculpture, bone carving, batik, tapestry, and so on. All works were dedicated to the anniversary of the company and united by the Nornickel – 85! theme.
The best works were chosen not only by a competent jury, but also by subscribers of the @ukpnn page on social networks.
Thus, 15 works were named the best: nine nominees of the festival were determined by the audience vote, six more – is the special opinion of the jury. Victoria Popova became the winner of the Grand Prix in Applied arts and crafts for her Spirit of the North work. The exhibition of the works can be viewed on the @ukpnn page in social networks.
In the nomination Musical and artistic creativity, the participants sang solo, in a duet, in an ensemble, danced, played musical instruments, recited poetry and even performed works of their own composition and sent videos of them.
Denis Agafonov became the winner of the Grand Prix for the Hey, Country! performance.
