Smeshariki explore Nenets neighborliness spirit

February 03, 2025

The episode is titled The Nomadic Rabbit.

#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The latest episode of Smeshariki is dedicated to the customs and traditions of one of the indigenous peoples of the Far North – the Nenets.

This animated series is part of the Alphabet of Friendship Among Peoples with Smeshariki initiative, created by the Riki group of companies with support from the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives, as reported by the media project portal of the Interethnic Journalism Guild.

In this episode, Krosh discovers a pipe and begins to learn a musical composition to share with all the residents of Chamomile valley. However, there’s a challenge: the rehearsals are quite loud. To address the noise, the Smeshariki decide to subtly hint to their boisterous neighbor by sharing stories about the Nenets’ traditions, which emphasize warm and friendly relationships with those around them. Unexpectedly, this leads Krosh to embark on a journey to migrate like the nomadic people of the Far North.

The Nomadic Rabbit is now available on all major streaming platforms.

Previously, This Is Taimyr reported that a sand drawing course was set to open at the animation studio within the Rodina film complex.
