#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. For their professional work and dedication to mining, 105 employees of the Polar Division and subsidiaries received certificates of honor, gratitude and distinctions. Miners were honored at the Komsomolsky and Octyabrsky mines, at the Medvezhy Ruchey enterprise.
“This is a special holiday for us – for the Nornickel company and the Norilsk division, because we are rightfully considered the leaders of metallurgy and have a unique base, modern technologies and equipment. But the main thing is our team, these are our people who, thanks to their professionalism, complete the assigned tasks every day. Thanks to this, Nornickel is truly considered a unique company and a leader in the metals production”, said Nikolay Utkin, senior vice president of Nornickel, head of the Norilsk division. “I want to thank you for your hard and selfless work. To thank the veterans who continue teaching us, passing on knowledge. I wish you good health, prosperity to your loved ones and good luck to all of us”.
The Norilsk head Dmitry Karasyov also addressed the company’s employees:
“I congratulate you on the holiday and wish you good health and success in everything. Today the whole country and the whole world knows what we are doing not only in the mining business, but also in the city business. And this is largely thanks to you. I want to thank you so much for what you are doing. Happy holiday, dear miners!”
The final chord of the pre-holiday day was the performance of the popular Russian singer Slava in the Aika sports complex. Congratulating the heroes of the occasion on the professional day, the singer sang songs loved by the audience.
