“A decision was made to open an academy of shamanism in Tuva, where people will be able to master the theory and a range of practical shamanic knowledge. This educational institution will be international. There is interest in studying shamanic practices from not only Russia residents, but also those who live in other countries”, said Sayana Puhalskaya, a representative of the Russian Supreme Shaman Office.
It is planned to recruit ten students at first, but lectures and master classes will also be available to tourists. In addition to the history of shamanism, rituals and fortune telling will be shown in an accessible language to interest the audience, noted the Russian Supreme Shaman Office’s representative.
