#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The first continental expedition Russia 360’s team, led by the Pro Travel project’s head Bogdan Bulychev, completed its stay in the Krasnoyarsk region. Now its participants are on their way to the village of Tiksi (Yakutia).
The expedition members stayed in the Krasnoyarsk region for almost three weeks. During this time, they visited cape Chelyuskin, the village of Dikson and Dudinka, and on March 8, the travelers congratulated the fair half of humanity by writing congratulations to all women of Russia on the Kara sea’s ice using all-terrain vehicles.
“In Dudinka we visited a wonderful local history museum, one of the largest museums in the Arctic. It has an exhibition dedicated to modern researchers and discoverers of the Arctic. We donated several attributes of our expedition to the museum, which will soon be added to the exhibition. Near Dikson, we met the newest nuclear icebreaker Ural. At the invitation of the captain, we visited the ship, talked with the crew, learned a lot of interesting things about the new icebreaker”, said Bogdan Bulychev, head of the Pro Travel project, member of the Russia 360 expedition.
In addition, in Dudinka, the travelers met with schoolchildren, among whom were children of reindeer herders, told them about their Arctic expedition, and answered their questions. By the way, in our region, in the Kara sea’s ice, Arctic researchers recently discovered an old boat, presumably from the 19th century.
Earlier, This Is Taimyr reported that Taimyr’s best guide, student Arina Popova, lives in Dudinka.
