#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. This became possible thanks to the Grand Prix received by the park in the final of the competition Cultural Treasures through the Eyes of the Young: New Tourist Magnets of Russia.
The project’s goal is to attract attention and increase the interest and motivation of young people to study Russia and travel around the country.
The competition organizers especially emphasize that a local cultural brand is not only a landmark, as we usually understand it. It can be a local dish, a dance or an interesting person. Eight categories of brands participated in the current competition: Settlements, Traditions and Crafts, Persons, Buildings, Dates and Events, Images, Gastronomy, Nature and Art Clusters.
“Our park received the Grand Prix of the competition in the Nature category and entered the top attractions of Russia, becoming one of the cultural brands of our country. Royev Rouchey is more than a zoo or a park. This is a place where many professionals, fans of their business, create a better life for animals and people. There are more than 500 species of animals, more than 1 500 species and varieties of plants. Many are rescued. Here you can see the only giraffes in Siberia and the only night interactive performance in Russia on the territory of a zoo with an ascent to the roof”.
We add that the competition was held with the support of the Commission on Territorial Development and Local Government of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, the Presidential Grants Fund, the Committee on Youth Policy and Interaction with Public Organizations of St. Petersburg, the historical park Russia is My History.
