#ARCTIC. #SIBERIA. THIS IS TAIMYR. The total amount of funding for the program until 2030 will be about 23 billion rubles.
“The program is designed for five years at once, until 2030. This means that the industry support system will be long-term and understandable for those who are ready to invest in the creation of new placements in the region, which we currently lack. Most of the investments under the program are provided for by investors. I think this is correct: the state should create infrastructure and conditions for development, provide support measures, and building new facilities is the task of business. With this state program approval, tourism in the region becomes a full-fledged sector of the economy”, said Krasnoyarsk region governor Mikhail Kotyukov.
Much attention in the state program is paid to creating conditions for business development in the industry. Using support measures, legal entities and entrepreneurs will be able to implement public initiatives and projects not only to create infrastructure, but also to provide services to ensure the accessibility of tourism products for different categories of citizens, including people with limited mobility.
In addition, the program provides for expanding opportunities for the creation of new hotels, eco-hotels, glampings, tourist display facilities and recreational areas. New support measures imply technological connection to power, heat and water supply and sanitation systems for investment projects in the tourism sector. It provides for partial reimbursement of the loans’ costs received from Russian credit institutions, grants to national parks, and the development of master plans for tourist areas in the region. The program also provides subsidies for events, which will give impetus to the event tourism development, the regional government’s press service reports.
