In the Krasnoyarsk region, the results of the grant competition for the domestic and inbound tourism development projects were summed up. 44 projects will receive support totaling 20 million rubles by the end of the year.
The competition was held within the framework of support for small and medium-sized tourist businesses. Legal entities (with the exception of state and municipal institutions) and individual entrepreneurs providing tourism services in our region were invited to participate.
The organizers received 172 applications. According to the results of the competition, 44 of them will receive funding, according to the Tourism Agency of the Krasnoyarsk region. The winners were determined by a commission consisting of the professional community representatives, executive authorities, industry departments and the public.
The maximum grant amount is 500 thousand rubles. The Norilsk Putorana Territory LLC was among the winners. The organization offers water and hiking trips to the Putorana plateau, including photo tours and helicopter tours.
“To increase the activity and comfort of our camping guests, we will use the money received to purchase stand-up boards and a motorraft – a small inflatable boat for rafting down mountain rivers”, Anton Lysov, head of the Putorana Territory team, told the This Is Taimyr.
Let’s remind, now the development of tourism in Taimyr is one of the important areas of work of the local community. Travelers want to get to the Far North. For them, Nornickel, local business and the authorities are creating a tourism cluster. Last year, tourism on the territory reached a new level: tours to Taimyr appeared in the assortment of the largest European tourism alliance TUI Group, and representatives of seven largest tour operators visited Norilsk, Dudinka and the Putorana plateau. The plans include further development of the sphere. Thus, experts have recently awarded stars to tourist sites in Norilsk.
